N O U G A T  L A Y E R
2/3 cup GF oat flour
2 tbsp coconut flour
2 heaping tbsp. cashew butter
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp maple syrup
Pinch sea salt.

12 Medjool dates ( de-pitted, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes)
2 heaping tbsp. cashew butter
1.5 tsp vanilla
1 tsp warm water
¼ teaspoon sea salt.

2 dark chocolate bars ( I used Eating Evolved)
1 tbsp coconut oil.

1/3 cup chopped cashews.

D i r e c t i o n s
N O U G A T( soak your dates) In your food processor or high speed blender add all nougat ingredients & blend on high. It should form a slightly sticky dough. If too sticky add a tad more oat flour.

On a parchment lined baking sheet spread dough shape into a rectangular layer, use a rolling pin or hands. I shaped mine about 1-1.5 inch thick, smoothing out the edges as you shape. Place baking sheet in freezer to set.

C A R A M E L:  Drain your de-pitted dates. Quickly rinse your food processor & Add all caramel ingredients. Churn on high, scraping sides every minute or so. blend until completely smooth like caramel, about 7-8 minutes!

Remove your nougat from freezer & spread your caramel mixture on top. If you have any extra save in a jar & add into smoothies!

Take chopped cashews & slightly press into caramel so they stick. Place into freezer for AT LEAST an hour.

When snickers are ready, break up your chocolate & add to a microwave safe bowl. Start to melt with 30 second intervals stirring in between. Once halfway melted add your 1 tbsp coconut oil. Continue to melt and stir until completely smooth.

Remove your snickers from freezer, & slice with a sharp knife in any shape you choose. Once sliced, & your chocolate has slightly cooled, place your snickers one by one into your chocolate bowl. Use a spoon to help you cover snickers.

Place back on parchment paper, shaking any excess chocolate before placing. Repeat until all covered.

Place back in freezer for 15 minutes to set! Store in freezer in air tight container, & allow 10 minutes to defrost before eating.
